Pete Snyder
This year I begin my 6th year teaching and my second year at Fondy Central. I graduated from New London Senior High School in 1997. I was fortunate to have some great teachers and coaches that led me to decide on a career in education. In 2002, I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Social Studies, in which the majority of my coursework was in History. While at UW-Eau Claire I was manager of the club baseball team. I also completed a two-month student teaching placement in London, England.
After graduating, I taught or two years in the U.S./Mexico border town of San Luis, Arizona. I then moved to Phoenix where I completed my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. While living in Phoenix I taught U.S. History and Government at Queen Creek High School. In 2008, I moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to my family. I have three nephews and one niece that I enjoy watching grow up. What I enjoy most about Fondy Central is that I get to spend more time getting to know my students so I can better help them achieve their goals.
